The much anticipated Corona warning app has been available since June 16, 2020. It was developed by the federal government together with Telekom and SAP. This app can significantly help contain the current Covid-19 pandemic and make the infection process more controllable. Infection chains are recorded individually for each user and passed on to the app user completely anonymously, so that possible infections on Sars-Cov-2 can be detected as early as possible. An essential part of this solution is the secure transfer of a positive Covid-19 test result to the app. To make this possible, Telekom and representatives of the laboratories have been in close cooperation for several weeks. Medat recommends using the federal government’s new corona warning app, as it can help avoid long chains of infection and prevent infections.
