Description
DAVIDdepot is operated as a subsystem of the DAVID laboratory information system and manages the three common product types (erythocyte concentrate (EK), frozen plasma (GFP), platelet concentrate (TK)) as blood units with their different properties and records patients with their serological properties Properties. In a database separate from the laboratory system, patient data from the blood group serology and blood unit data from the depot are kept, which guarantees the “look back” in both directions.
