Medat Laborinformationssystem

Medat successfully implements new oKFE guidelines

Since October 1st, laboratories with contracted doctors have been documenting the results of evaluated cytological examinations and HPV tests (co-testing) as part of the early detection programs for colon cancer (iFOBT) and cervical cancer.

Medat implements the new oKFE guidelines in your Medat laboratory software. What does that mean for your laboratory?

If you offset the preventive iFOBT with the number 01738, you must now document this in electronic form. In terms of content, this differs only slightly from the previous one. The electronic documentation is required according to § 11 Abs. 4 oKFE-RL Prerequisite for billing services.

If you need the evaluation and data transfer to the KV (health insurance) because you are performing these tests, please contact us promptly by email at abrechnung@medat.de so that we can provide you with the desired programs for documentation.
